Meet Dr. Sarah Jacobi, PT, DPT

Dr. Sarah was professionally trained as a performance coach in 2014 during her undergraduate studies at Oregon State University. She went on to take advanced training in motivational interviewing, positive psychology, and trauma-informed care and to train several coaches on best coaching practices.

After a serious health issue, she decided to go into physical therapy. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire in 2021. Throughout her schooling and early career, she used her coaching skills daily as a physical therapist, helping clients define their goals, troubleshoot obstacles, and reflect on how far they had come. Dr. Sarah has centered her practice around body inclusivity and draws inspiration from health at any size, fit and fat, queer and transvisibility, and diverse disability representation in sport, like the paralymics and special olympics.

Dr. Sarah and her wife recently moved to the Netherlands to start a new life with their menagerie of pets. She enjoys reading, learning new things, playing video and board games, and throwing all the balls for her dogs. Dr. Sarah also recently celebrated 11 years of sobriety and is committed to her self-improvement journey.
